Property is located in Ne Portland just off 148th and Halsey. Very large lot with plenty of room to walk around or sit on the covered front porch and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Each bedroom has their own private 1/2 bath and I also have a current opening with a full private bath. We cater to each individual on care needs as well as meals. We go through a very thorough screening process to ensure residents needs and the services we offer will match.
My name is Michael McFeron and I am a live in operator at this care home. I live here with my girlfriend (Amy) and our 2 year old son (Maverick). Amy works full time as a surgery scheduler for Kaiser Permanente. She has been in the healthcare field for 10+ years as a caregiver, medical assistant and now surgery scheduler. She brings a lot of knowledge and compassion into the home.
I have been a caregiver and resident manager for 4+ years. My extended family has been in the business for 20+ years and I grew up living next to an adult care home as a child. I have worked in Adult Care Homes as well as Residential Care Facilities with many different residents. I like to keep a close relationship with each resident and their families. I’ve taken residents to parks, the Oregon Zoo, Blazers games, grocery shopping, farms, the beach and also just for car rides to run errands. We constantly work with each residents to learn the likes and dislikes and come up with solutions to provide the homelike environment we all need. We look forward to meeting you.
